I feel a little for these nogs. They were used and probably should have been working an entry level job after high school, not reading a writing at a fifth grade level at an Ivy League school.

Yeah, quite often the gibs beneficiary end up worse-off than they would have been in the long run had they been given no special consideration.  Law school and the bar exam provide great examples.  Blacks who go to law schools they could get into without affirmative action pass the bar at higher rates compared to equal-scoring blacks who take affirmative action, despite going to nominally inferior institutions.  Of course this doesn't diminish how obnoxious they can be and it's ultimately on them, but people feeding them the progressive narrative their whole lives likely impairs their ability to reason these things out.

Former ‘SNL’ writer booted off stage at Columbia University

Quote
A former “Saturday Night Live” writer was yanked off stage in the middle of a performance at Columbia University for telling jokes about race and sexual orientation that made students uncomfortable

Quote
Indian-American comedian Nimesh Patel was performing stand-up at an event organized by the Columbia Asian American Alliance on Friday when he told a gag about a gay black man in his neighborhood

Quote
Patel, who wrote for “SNL” in 2017, said being gay can’t be a choice because “no one looks in the mirror and thinks, ‘This black thing is too easy, let me just add another thing to it.'”

Quote
About half an hour into the set, members of the alliance stopped it and ripped into the comic for joking about race and sexual orientation, the student paper reports.

Patel tried to defend his material, saying he was just discussing ideas from “the real world,” but his microphone was cut, according to the report.

Quote
In a statement, the student group said Patel’s set ran “counter to the inclusive spirit and integrity” of the event.

“We acknowledge that discomfort and safety can coexist, however, the discomfort Patel caused was unproductive in this space,” the Columbia Asian American Alliance wrote on its Facebook page.

yeah, it barely qualifies as a joke.  maybe if it was delivered with some kind of caricature of a thuggish lisp it could get a cheap laugh, but somehow i doubt that would fly with that audience

the best part is that it seems explicitly crafted not to offend the snowflakes.  its entire premise is "blacks have it hard, gays have it hard, and gays are born that way" and yet it still resulted in  :ultlibrage: :ultlibrage: :ultlibrage: outrage.  do these kids have such poor comprehension that they can't tell that the nigger-faggot wasn't the butt of the joke?  they just hear words that mention race or sexual orientation and instantly get the vapors?

at least between this guy and the little fella from parks and rec that got drummed out of showbiz for being bad at foreplay, we now know for sure that curryniggers aren't oppressed enough to be allowed to notice that people are gay or black.  probably because they tend to be reasonably hardworking and law-abiding

Campus totalitarianism has reached the extreme of educrats calling the cops because they saw a cartoon frog:

Quote
Folsom Lake College notified the local police after finding a poster of a cartoon frog, stating that “hate has no home on our campus.”

That means that they will not permit anything they hate. This includes Pepe the Frog, who is associated with a dissident right-wing point of view.

A faculty member at the Folsom, California discovered Pepe lurking where he clearly did not belong.

Quote
The picture of the smirking frog appeared alongside other posters pertaining to “fascist dog whistles,” Democratic Socialists of America, and a week of social justice events.
So naturally the school called the cops so that law enforcement would “be on heightened alert for any signs that this may be part of a larger trend or pattern,” as educrats and student government put it in an email to students and faculty.

The actual problem was that Pepe disrupted the otherwise homogeneously soycommie trend or patternprevailing at institutions of corrosive brainwashing like Fulsome I mean Folsom Lake College.

It's particularly funny when you see the wall plastered with blatant anti-white propaganda that what they consider racially "menacing" is a smug looking cartoon frog.

https://www.thecollegefix.com/i-called-for-diversity-of-thought-my-peers-compared-me-to-a-neo-nazi/

Quote
As I took part in a recent student leadership board meeting for the Department of Political Science at Boston University, a group that works to advise faculty on ways to improve, I offered some advice: the department could use more intellectual diversity.

One student chided me that “debate” was too aggressive of a word, that I should use “discussion” instead. Another student, a College Democrat in the room, then compared me to a well-known peer from Boston University who is often regarded as a neo-Nazi and who went to the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, noting “he has sat here in these seats asking for intellectual diversity as well.”

I felt shocked and insulted. I waited to see if either the professor or administrator or any of the other students in the room would defend me. None did. One student suggested conservatives shouldn’t major in political science at Boston University, as they’d have a hard time. The room erupted in laughter.

To that end, there are plenty of anecdotes I could supply. Here are just a few.

As a freshman, or as the administration likes to say to avoid being sexist— as a “first-year”— I was required to take an English class. My instructor was a teaching assistant, but insisted we call her professor. The morning after President Trump won, she dismissed class early because she could not stop crying. Later that day, she sent out an email giving us information about a designated “safe space” on campus to commiserate the election results. Nevermind that my university has an entire police department to protect it.

During a course I took on political theory, my professor dedicated the entire chapter on fascism to President Trump. He constantly referred to Trump as a fascist, and brought up the Mueller investigation during each class session.

In my statistics class, my professor made an entire exam question that necessitated a final conclusion that Fox News is not a reliable news source. The chi-square test is a statistic that measures the “goodness of fit” between how well an observed distribution fits with the expected distribution. We were given the average amount of gun deaths that occur per year in the United States and the average amount of terrorist attacks that are perpetrated toward Americans per year. We were also given the amount of times CNN, MSNBC, ABC and Fox News reported on each of these issues, and the idea is that one would expect the news organizations to report on the respective issues a proportional amount. When one worked out the math, Fox News’ reporting ended up having the worst goodness of fit, and we had to write that meant they were the least reliable and most unbalanced.

In other courses, I’ve been forced to include my “pronouns” in my introductions at the beginning of the term. After revealing I’m Catholic, I’ve been asked if my priests ever “microaggressed” me. I’ve been told by a climate-alarmist professor that I would face consequences if I ever brought single-use plastic into his classroom.

https://legalinsurrection.com/2019/03/sarah-lawrence-college-students-of-color-protesters-issue-9-pages-of-demands-target-conservative-professor/

lotta background info in the article but the tl;dr is some "african diaspora" coalition sent a 9 page list of demands to the college admin and are occupying some  building:

Some of the best demands:
Quote
“All campus laundry rooms are to supply laundry detergent and softener on a consistent basis for all students, faculty and staff.”

“The College will designate housing with a minimum capacity for thirty students of color that is not contingent on the students expending any work or labor for the college. This housing option will be permanent and increase in space and size based on interest.”

“In addition to the expansion of the food pantry, we demand the College implement a 24/7 space in the Barbara Walters Center focused on providing food and necessities including pads, tampons, and detergent. Students should be able to obtain these items using with their meal plan or meal money.”

“We demand a mandatory first-year orientation session about intellectual elitism and classism.”

“We demand the College provide free storage to international students as part of the College’s commitment to student welfare.”

Diasporic Studies

Students of color should not be forced to resort to racist white professors in order to have access to their own history. It is crucial that the College offer courses taught about people of color by people of color so that students may engage in and produce meaningful work that represents them authentically.

We demand there be new tenured faculty of color – at least two in African diasporic studies, one in Asian-American studies, one in Latinx diasporic studies, and one in indigenous/native peoples studies.
We demand there be at least three more courses offered in African diasporic studies taught by Black professors.

We demand that the College offer classes that embody intersectionality, as defined by Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw, and address the racial diversity of the LGBTQ+ community instead of centering whiteness.
The aforementioned classes must be taught by professors who are a part of the culture they are teaching about.

The whole thing started when some white professor wrote an article that said "colleges should have diversity of opinion" (aka allow conservatives to have conservative opinions) - they are demanding the college revoke his tenure and fire him for that.
